About Dr. Chan
Dr Chan is a Consultant Psychiatrist who works with adults experiencing a broad range of mental health difficulties, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and neurodevelopmental presentations. He values careful assessment, collaborative care, and evidence-based treatment, with a focus on helping patients feel understood and supported.
He has a particular interest in relationship dynamics and integrates psychotherapeutic approaches into his psychiatric care.
Dr Chan is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists with extensive clinical experience across inpatient and community services. He specialises in consultation-liaison psychiatry, perinatal mental health, older persons psychiatry, and emergency psychiatry, bringing strengths in psychotherapy-informed care and culturally safe practice.
He is fluent in English and Cantonese.
