Provisional Psychologist, Renee Mitrevski, is in the final year of her Master of Clinical Psychology degree. She has been apart of Pre-Emptive Healthcare administration team since 2021, and has gained experience across a variety of settings. This includes private practice, schools, and St Vincent’s Hospital—where she worked in the Acute Inpatient Unit, Crisis and Assessment Team, and Emergency Department.

Renee has developed a broad understanding of the psychological challenges many individuals face. Renee is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, emotional regulation difficulties, behaviour management, and interpersonal challenges.

She brings a compassionate, collaborative approach, creating a supportive and empathetic space where clients feel heard and empowered as they work towards their goals. With a particular focus on cognitive assessment, Renee is experienced in conducting comprehensive psychometric testing to better understand an individual’s psychological profile, which informs effective treatment planning. She integrates this with evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT).
