Dr Chan is a Consultant Psychiatrist who works with adults experiencing a broad range of mental health difficulties, including mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and neurodevelopmental presentations. He values careful assessment, collaborative care, and evidence-based treatment, with a focus on helping patients feel understood and supported.
Dr Chan is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and has extensive clinical experience across inpatient and community services, consultation-liaison psychiatry, perinatal mental health, older persons psychiatry, and emergency psychiatry. He brings strengths in psychotherapy-informed care and he is committed to culturally safe clinical practice.
Dr Chan has a particular interest in relationship dynamics and integrates psychotherapeutic approaches into his psychiatric care. He is fluent in English and Cantonese.
