Yasmine is a Senior Clinician with over 15 years of therapeutic experience in a variety of clinical settings. With her tertiary background in psychology and mental health social work, Yasmine has held several senior, consultancy roles within hospital settings, children and families, sexual assault and family violence services, as well as the assessment and treatment for people in forensic settings. Prior to working in private practice, Yasmine led multiple teams of practitioners with evidence-based, therapeutic approaches in a senior management role to develop systemic change for children, youth, and families. She also has experience working with businesses providing workplace support and training, helping organisations foster a healthier, more productive environment.

Yasmine has experience providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for individuals with depression and anxiety. By working collaboratively with her clients, Ms. Sevim can help them develop more adaptive coping strategies through understanding their patterns of thought and behaviours to improve their overall well-being.

One of Yasmine’s areas of specialisation is trauma-informed therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She utilises evidence-based interventions such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help individuals recover from traumatic experiences. These approaches are tailored to the specific needs of each client, ensuring that they receive the most effective and appropriate treatment.

Furthermore, Yasmine employs the Gottman Approach to support couples facing relationship problems. Through the Gottman Approach, Yasmine aims to help couples develop the necessary skills and tools to navigate challenges more effectively and establish a more satisfying and fulfilling relationship.

With her extensive experience, evidence-based interventions, and personalised approach, she can provide comprehensive mental health support to her clients.
